I-85 Lighting Project Ceremony

Thursday, September 2, 2010 a ceremony will take place at Comfort Suites marking the completion of the I-85 Lighting Project. This is a project the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce has promoted, supported, and lobbied in support of for over seven years.

The main focus on the project was to illuminate the three main entrances from I-85. The project will be good for Anderson business by making the area more welcoming, safer, and pleasant. The project includes installation of 22 high mast lights (cluster) and 34 standard mast-arm lights.
